Black Male Development Symposium

About BMDS:  The Black Male Development Symposium (BMDS) was established as a forum that promotes action-oriented community discussions on the plight of African American Males. BMDS provides an opportunity to engage youth, adults, educational institutions, community organizations and individuals to participate in a one-day symposium designed to address the life-threatening issues facing Black men and boys.  The Symposium offers a safe “inter-generational space” for AAM of all ages to do as encouraged by the symposium’s early creators...to think and re-evaluate where they are as men, co-workers, lovers, husbands, fathers and brothers in a healthy and developmental manner.  BMDS will hold its 7th Annual Symposium on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Arcadia University.  Visit our website at blackmaledevelopment.com, Friend us on Facebook or call/email 215-572-4087, bmds.symposium@gmail.com.  "BMDS: More than a Symposium; but a Movement of Commitment, Change and Clarity."
